The 2018 WWCCD Annual Meeting and Election will be held January 18th, 2018 at the WW Regional Airport. Staff is busy recruiting speakers and lining up great presentations. Three pesticide credits are available and a hosted luncheon is planned. The WWCCD Annual Mtg agenda 2018 includes speakers on the value of adding canola to your rotation as well as an important talk on pH.
Official Notice: A poll-site election for a board seat on the Walla Walla County Conservation District will be held on January 18th, 2018 at the Walla Walla Regional Airport. Polls will open at 8:30 and close at 12:30. Registered voters who reside within the Conservation District boundary are eligible to vote. Candidates must be registered voters residing in the conservation district and may be required to own land or operate a farm, depending on the make-up of the board. A conservation district supervisor is a public official who serves without compensation and who sets policy and direction for the conservation district. Interested candidates may pick up filing forms at the District office where the complete elections procedures are also available. The filing deadline is December 15th at noon; all forms must be received at the District office at that time.
