Arbor Day Tree 2023 Planting Event

WWCCD is hosting a ceremonial tree planting at 11:00 a.m.  on Arbor Day Friday, April 28^th.   Join us at 604 Klingman Court to see where private landowners have teamed up with district staff to restore habitat on Caldwell Creek. It’s just one example of the restoration projects being installed locally, thanks to the support of many folks who work together to improve our streams and community. Our program will include a short 10-minute overview of Walla Walla County Conservation District efforts, how they related to buffer ordinances, and specifics about the project followed by Q &A.
