Public Notice: The Walla Walla County Conservation District is seeking applicants for an opening on its Board of Supervisors. This opening is for one of two positions on the board appointed by the Washington Conservation Commission. The current position is held by Jeff Schulke. A district supervisor is a public official who serves without compensation and sets policy and direction for the District. An applicant must be a registered voter in Washington State and may be required to own land or operate a farm. Applicants for appointed positions do not have to live within the district to apply. Applications and supporting materials must be received by the Commission no later than March 31st, 2019.
