Official Notice: A poll-site election for a board seat on the Walla Walla County Conservation District will be held on January 22nd, 2019 at the Walla Walla Regional Airport. Polls will open at 8:30 and close at 12:30. Registered voters who reside within the Conservation District boundary are eligible to vote. Candidates must be registered voters residing in the conservation district and may be required to own land or operate a farm, depending on the make-up of the board. A conservation district supervisor is a public official who serves without compensation and who sets policy and direction for the conservation district. Interested candidates may pick up filing forms at the District office where the complete elections procedures are also available. The filing deadline is December 14th, 2018 at noon; all forms must be received at the District office at that time. Absentee ballots are available upon request for eligible voters, but must be requested on or before January 4th, 2019 by 4:30 p.m. Please contact the District office at (509) 956-3753 or at the District office at 325 N. 13th Ave., Walla Walla for absentee ballots or if you have any questions.
